WARM AWARDED TV LICENSE
On February 26th, 1953 WARM Radio and its owners were awarded a TV license. That station was Channel 16. Here's that newspaper article provided to u by our friend Joe Klapatch. The other big news in this article was that Scranton was going to get an Educational TV station. That outlet, WVIA TV went on the air 13 years later.
